Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe Airport.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our driver/guide who will brief you about the safari itinerary and thereafter transfer you to your hotel in Kampala.Depending on your arrival time, you will be taken on a tour of Kampala City,Uganda’s Capital City and business center. While on Kampala City, you will tour many places which may include, The Kabaka’s Palace, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Kibuli Mosque, Independence Monument among many other places. You will later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meal Plan: (Dinner).
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After your early morning breakfast, you will embark on a 5 hour journey to Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon,you will go on a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary which gives you the opportunity to encounter primates including different monkey species. There are also various bird species including the fabulous blue turacco among others. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and proceed to track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park. The park is home to other primates as well including; golden monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey-checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys and pottos. Later take a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary, a good site for ornithologists. The Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek can easily be marked among the other 137 bird species plus an array of butterfly species. Day 4: Kibale National Park – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Carry out a game drive in the Mweya Peninsular that has a magnificent location of the Rwenzori glacial peaks. Day 5: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes where the mountain gorillas live. A visit to the bat Cave close to Maramagambo forest or a glance of Kyambura gorge is worthwhile. Make a game drive at Ishasha on your way to Bwindi in search of the tree climbing lions. Later, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities living around the park. Day 7: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides,depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 30 minutes – 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. This strenuous quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorilla. Spend a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos.If time permits, take a village foot safari in the afternoon to meet and interact with the local communities that live around Bwindi Forest.
