Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival Kigali Airport – Transfer to Bwindi

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be welcomed by our safari driver/guide who will brief you about the safari itinerary and later transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda, home of the mountain gorillas. Accommodation Options: Gorilla Safari Lodge (Luxury), Silverback Lodge (Mid Range) or Broadbill Forest Camp (Economy). Meal Plan: (Dinner).

Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi, you will report to the park head quarters for pre-trek briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with them while you watch them move about as you take photos. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After the gorilla tracking experience you will return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha plains. Accommodation Options: Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Parkview Safari Lodge (Mid Range) or Baboon Lodge (Budget). Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge – Transfer to Kampala

Today, after having your early morning breakfast, you will head for chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura gorge where you will be briefed by the park rangers before you finally slope in the gorge to hunt for the chimpanzees. The trekking will give you a great experience to see and spot some rare bird species, wildlife and plants along your way as you track the chimpanzees. You will be given up to one hour with the chimpanzees, where you will be able to take enough photographs and later return to your lodge with a brief game drive on the Kyambura plains as you return for early lunch and later transfer to Kampala reaching in the late afternoon for overnight and dinner at your booked lodge. Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.

After having your morning breakfast depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to Entebbe airport to catch up with your flight back home or to your next destination.
